The past few months have been steady for real estate in Destin, the 30A and surrounding Miramar Beach, Sandestin Resort, Niceville and Fort Walton Beach. We haven't seen the usual slow-downs that normally accompany the summer season. New listings for homes, condos and townhomes are all up, including the sales stats. Properties in Destin and the 30A have been selling for about 97% of their list price in a reasonable amount of time. Recently, we had a condo go under contract after only 6 days on the market.

Year to Date Condo Stats for Destin & the 30A
Top Condo Sales
The number of Destin and area condo sales were up 8% overall compared to the same time in 2017, with the top selling areas:
- Destin: 20%
- Miramar/Sandestin: 18%
- North Santa Rosa Beach: 10%
Top Condo Price Increases
Destin and area condo prices had an 8% increase in average sale price with the largest increases in:
- Miramar/Sandestin Resort: 20%
- 30A West: 18%
- 30A East 13%
The highest price received for a condo was $3,000,000 for a 5 bedroom condominium in Grand Dunes, Miramar Beach, Florida.
Year to Date Single-Family Home Stats for Destin & the 30A
Top Home Sales
The number of home sales were up 5% compared to 2017. Top selling areas included:
- Navarre: 15%
- Miramar/Sandestin Resort: 6%
- Niceville: 5%
Top Home Price Increases
Average sale prices were up just 1% from the same time last year. The highest increases included:
- Destin: 18%
- Fort Walton Beach: 12%
- Niceville: 7%
The highest price receive for a house was $10,750,000 for a 7 bedroom, beachfront home in Seagrove, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
